Guardianship + Conservatorship

We Serve Families and Loved Ones

A guardianship is a legal relationship established by the court to allow someone (a guardian) to make decisions on behalf of another (a protected person) in relation to the protected person’s personal care and wellbeing. A conservatorship is a legal relationship established by the court to appoint a manager (a conservator) to handle the financial affairs of and make financial decisions for another (protected person). A guardian or conservator is appointed because the protected person is unable to make important decisions or handle such affairs for themselves, either because they are underage or because they are not physically or cognitively able.
